    The Light Up
    the Village will benefit Metro United Way with a portion of all
    Westport Village retail sales that night to be donated to the
    non-profit entity. The annual Westport Village Holiday Open House event
    begins at 6 pm with activities planned throughout the evening.

    All the Village stores will offer shopping specials with great
    holiday gift ideas along with holiday treats and refreshments. Westport
    Village gift cards will be available for purchase. The annual event
    includes the holiday tradition of pictures with Santa and horse drawn
    sleigh rides. Live music performances will feature an outdoor Christmas
    concert by the Vendors, choirs and Christmas carolers from Dunn
    Elementary, Westport Baptist Church, and MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS.

    at the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center. Hollydays features

    In July, at
    the Geek Show Episode 1, Divinity Rose made a promise to fanboys
    everywhere ( and by everywhere we mean facebook). If 100 people came to
    that show, she would host a following show as an Orion Slave Girl. She stopped counting heads at 150, so now she fulfills that promise!

    The Louisville Improvisors will be there to perform within the theme, while topics come from the audience. Fender and McLovin from the Den of Sin and CW will be on hand servin' up Star Wars and Star Trek trivia and prizes. Music and space girls with special musical guest from Nashville, the Captain Midnight Band. And don't let your eyes deceive you!     Street Comedy Showcase. Since then, John Heffron's comedy has evolved

    Description:

    The
    beautiful 1895 Conrad-Caldwell House Museum on St. James Court is a
    star attraction on the tour where Christmas and Hanukah shoppers will
    find great holiday gift ideas in the basement gift shop including a
    special silent auction of gingerbread houses to benefit the Old
    Louisville Information Center in Central Park. The handmade gingerbread
    houses are donated by Terry Rabalais, A Piece of Cake; Leah Stewart,
    The Gallery House; Gabi Thomas, Nord’s Bakery; and Kamah Patel, The
    Dessert Company.

    During the tour, The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum will host a high
    Victorian Tea at the Inn at the Park, 1332 South Fourth Street, each
    day with seatings from noon until 4 pm. The Tea will feature English
    teas and a tasteful sampling of savories and sweets reminiscent of
    holiday teas in the 19th century. The food will be prepared by David
    Dominé, The Bluegrass Peasant, and served by the Conrad-Caldwell House
    Museum Volunteers. Entertainment will be provided by harpist, Nancy
    Stagner. Tea Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance like the
    tour tickets. Tea Tickets may also be purchased during the tour at the
    Conrad-Caldwell House Museum or at the Inn at the Park. All proceeds
    from the tea go to The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum.
