    The Mayor's Art & Music Series with The Jerry Tolson Quartet
    Held in the intimate setting of the Mayor’s Gallery at historic Louisville Metro Hall, these monthly performances will showcase local and regional musicians and artists.

    “Louisville has an international reputation for its music, performing and visual arts. We are creating an opportunity to showcase a diverse mix of performers and artists in the unique setting of Metro Hall, which is the people’s building.” - Mayor Greg Fischer

    Brown-bag lunches are permitted, but due to the historic nature of the Mayor’s Gallery, no outside drinks will be allowed.

    Steel Magnolias
    Coffee Cup Theatre Company (CCTC) will stage Robert Harling’s award-winning play Steel Magnolias under the direction of CCTC’s Artistic Director Dan Welch.

    Set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, Steel Magnolias is about the bond a group of southern women. The play is hilarious, touching – and in the end – deeply revealing of the strength of these women.

    Spirit of Jefferson Moonlight Cruise
    The riverboat Spirit of Jefferson will be hosting a late night Karaoke cruise as the theme for this month’s annual moonlight cruise.     Moonshine University Kentucky Bourbon Trail Course
    Moonshine University, the educational division of Distilled Spirits Epicenter, will be offering a class that allows participants to experience the spirits of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail without leaving Louisville. Whether evaluating the nuances of one of Jim Beam’s bourbons or learning the history of the red wax seals on the bottles of Maker’s Mark, participants will be entertained as well as educated as the course enriches their bourbon knowledge. The afternoon will include a tour of Moonshine University’s working distillery that will offer a visual representation of the distilling process.

    Water Music on the Bridge
    Classical 90.5 WUOL presents "Water Music on the Bridge," a free performance on the newly opened Big Four Pedestrian Bridge. Musicians from the community, including Indiana University Southeast, the Concentus String Quartet, the Louisville Youth Orchestra, and the Youth Performing Arts School will collaborate to play Handel's Water Music, conducted by Jason Seber.
