Beats and Eats: South of the BorderThis late-night pop-up will transform Decca's Cellar Lounge into a Cantina where botanas are plentiful and Mezcal flows all night, alongside a soundtrack of West Coast and Southern Hip-Hop spun by DJ Ryan Rugger. In addition to the full bar menu, drink specials will include the Maized and Confused (mezcal, rye mash, corn, basil, salt, lime), $2 Mexican Beer, $3 Tequila Shots and The Cellar Lounge’s infamous “Five Dolla Holla” — a shot of bourbon and a can of beer for $5. The FAT Friday Trolley Hop was launched in 2004 and has become a signature event on Frankfort Avenue. Held year-round on the final Friday of every month from 6 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., this event draws thousands of people, who enjoy free trolley rides to participating shops, restaurants and galleries along the Frankfort, Mellwood and Story Avenue corridor. The 2015 Barefoot Polo Classic Pack the car with your friends, food and drink to tailgate field side for a competitive twilight polo match featuring The Louisville Polo Club. Never attended to a polo match? Don't let that stop you, announcer J.P. Splitz will be hand to guide the crowd through the match. Following the competition, interact and snap pictures with the polo horses. Don't tell us you forgot to pack enough food for tailgate. Luckily, Get It On A Bun At Booty's food truck will be onsite to satisfy your appetite.Once the polo match ends, the event returns to Barefoot’s roots with a classic Kentucky farm party. WhiskerMania!Where will you be when the mega powers of facial hair clash in Louisville? We hope at Whiskermania, the first charity facial hair competition in Louisville history presented by the Derby City Whisker Club. This event will bring together unmovable beards and unstoppable mustaches from all over the city, state, region, country and world to have facial hair judged in 13 different categories. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Active Heroes, a charity based right here in Louisville that helps active duty military, veterans and their families through physical and mental therapy, home repairs, community outreach and community reintegration to halt the trigger points of stress associated with "hard times" that lead to suicide. This event will also include food trucks, vendors, raffles and live performances from Slow Joe Crow & The Berserker Blues Band and Hoot Von Woot. This is a 21 and over event. Anjelah Johnson: Bon Qui QuiBon Qui Qui is the alter ego of Mad TV’s Anjelah Johnson-Reyes. This original character arose from the Mad TV sketch “King Burger” and followed Johnson-Reyes’s stand-up routine, “Nail Salon,” which made her an internet sensation. After recording and releasing three songs and two music videos as Bon Qui Qui, Anjelah released debut album, Gold Plated Dreams.
