 Children’s Letters, Global Lessons at the Muhammad Ali Center This exhibit displays letters written by children from all over the world to human rights leaders Nelson Mandela and Rosa Parks. The exhibition includes videotaped welcome comments from three Nobel Prize Awardees: President Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and President Obama. The exhibit will also include letter writing stations where visitors of all ages can write letters to people that they feel have made a change in their lives, their communities, or the world. January 17, 8 - midnight Spring Awakening Presented by Kids Acting Against Cancer Spring Awakening explores the confusion and desperation that ensue when the onrushing tide of hormones meets the ignorance of children in a repressed society. 100% of the profits from Kids Acting Against Cancer's Spring Awakening will be donated to help provide the oncology ward of Kosair Children's Hospital with both medical equipment and amenities to help the children feel more comfortable as they undergo inpatient treatment.
