Desserts First at The Kentucky International Convention Center This event is an annual fundraiser for the Girl Scout of Kentuckiana chapter serving 64 counties in central Kentucky and Southern Indiana. 'Nick and Corey Tell Some Stories' at The Bard’s Town Nick and Corey Tell Some Stories is a a collection of short plays written by Corey Music and Nick Potter. It follows its two titular characters, Nick and Corey, as they go throughout a wide-variety of adventures together. These adventures include becoming zombies, time traveling, robbing a bank, having a nice dining experience in a restaurant, ending the world, and many, many more. Animal Rights Advocate Jenny Brown at Carmichael’s Carmichael's welcomes Jenny Brown for a signing of her new book The Lucky Ones. Longtime animal advocate and co-founder and director of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in Woodstock, NY, Brown has previously worked in film and television until she went undercover in Texas to film farmed animal abuse. That experience led her to dedicate her life to helping farm animals and raising awareness of their plight.
