    Give-A-Jam to End Homelessness
    Don’t miss the 4th Annual Give-A-Jam to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless. The evening will feature live performances by local musicians and artists, soups from Louisville’s best chefs, a silent auction, cash bar and Grammy winner Tim O'Brien, who will host a private VIP concert at 5:30 p.m.

    CARE-oke Christmas at Mercury Ballroom
    For anyone who dreams of being a rock star, West Sixth Brewing and the Forecastle Foundation are about to offer up that chance at their Care-oke Christmas, which will give would-be rock stars the chance to take the stage, choose a song, and be backed by a live band, for this first ever event. Participants can choose from over 100 songs, including everything from “Sweet Caroline” to “Ziggy Stardust” and more, then take to the Mercury Ballroom stage and perform backed by The Karaoke Machine, a live band from Southern Indiana. The event will feature DJ Matt Anthony, The Karaoke Machine, and a prize wheel with prizes ranging from Forecastle Foundation, West Sixth Brewing and Mercury Ballroom, and photos with Santa on the red carpet. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Forecastle Foundation.

    Holiday Performance of the Louisville Master Chorale
    A Louisville Master Chorale tradition of Christmas at the Cathedral of the Assumption continues with the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah (including the popular Hallelujah chorus) plus Vivaldi’s wondrous Gloria. Two Carol Fantasies by Mack Wilburg will include the familiar Joy to the World and The First Noel. A pre-concert program with Dr. John Hale begins at 1:45. This concert has become a treasured part of the holiday season for many families.

    3rd Annual Eggnog 5k
    Sweaty Sheep, a group focused on the idea of making faith fun, relevant, and non-intimidating to people of all upbringings, will be hosting their 3rd annual Eggnog 5k at Waterfront Park. This is a family friendly afternoon event where individuals come dressed in their favorite Christmas attire to run/walk a 3.1 mile course (that challenges them with 4 eggnog chugging stations) while being serenaded with Christmas Carols, and then culminates with a dinner and optional Christmas service. Participants will run/walk the 5k alongside Sweaty Sheep's homeless friends.
