Winter Wonderland Family Fun Fest at French Lick Resort Joyful decorations, family activities, festive music and plenty of opportunities to tell Santa Claus what you really want for Christmas are around every corner. Through Jan. 3, 2012 Give-A-Jam to End Homelessness at Clifton Center The evening will showcase many of Louisville’s most talented artists and also feature a sumptuous array of soups and stews from local restaurants. The event will be staffed entirely by volunteers to ensure that all proceeds will go to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless. Classical Music at the Lobby Bar at The Brown Hotel For fans of classical music, pianist and narrator Nada Loutfi perform every Sunday. Each week, Loutfi crafts a new hour-long program of traditional chamber music for guests to enjoy while lounging on couches in the Brown Hotel lobby. Her intent is to recreate the feeling of a European saloon in an intimate setting and often brings guest musicians and singers to join her. Dec. 23, 4-5 p.m., 2012 Urban Bourbon Exhibit at the Kentucky Derby Museum Urban Bourbon features several interactive sections while showcasing the importance and history of bourbon in the city of Louisville.Visitors can order a selection off of a bar menu which will activate several short video clips.
