'44 Plays for 44 Presidents' at The Bard's Town 44 Plays For 44 Presidents is a chronological, biographical survey of the lives and presidencies of each of the 44 men who have held the office so far, told in two-minute plays dedicated to each of the 44 presidencies. Nov. 1-10, 7:30 p.m. Grand Opening of Life Bar Life Bar will celebrate the opening of its Highlands location with samples of select smoothies, veggie blends and tasty treats from its all-vegan menu. DJ 'Gurly' will be spinning tunes all day, with a guest appearance by Andrea Davidson. Nov. 1, 2 p.m. Mayor's Music and Art Series at Metro Hall Mayor Greg Fischer holds his monthly series showcasing local musicians, artists and performers. This month features the world music of Sudanese Rebaba. Nov. 1, 12 p.m.
Justin Bieber at KFC Yum! Center The pop superstar brings his "Believe Tour" to Louisville. Nov. 2, 7 p.m. Bye Bye Birdie at Presentation Academy Presentation Academy presents its production of the classic musical "Bye Bye Birdie." Nov. 2-10, 7:30 p.m.
Project Reclamation Opening Reception at Carnegie Center for Art and History Enjoy refreshments and music by the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Quartet at the opening reception for Project Reclamation, a visual art exhibition created to help raise awareness and educate the community about mountaintop removal and its effects on the environment, society and politics. Nov. 2, 6 p.m.
Bruce Springsteen at KFC Yum! Center The Boss brings his "Wrecking Ball World Tour" to Louisville. Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m. Bourbon Cruise-N-Hors d'Oeuvres on the Belle of Louisville Bourbon tasting and delicious hors d'oeuvres will highlight the final cruise of 2012 on the historic Belle of Louisville. Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m. Save the TeePee Pavilion Benefit Show at Diamond Pub Concert Hall Live entertainment will be provided by She Might Bite, Leigh Ann Yost, THIRTEENTH SUN, Lost Tribe, Earth Tribe Dance Company (formerly Earth Mamas), Michael Blakeney, Nellie Pearl and Secret Beats—as well as other groups on the second stage. All proceeds from the night's silent auction will be added to the $60,000 already raised to restore the Hogan's Fountain Pavilion, Louisville's newest Local Landmark. Nov. 3, 6 p.m.
Kidfest Louisville at Cherokee Park Hosted By Lil Cheezers and the Mommy Nest, KidFest Louisville is a collective of local businesses that have come together and organized an event intended solely for kids. Leigh Ann Yost Music and Heidi Howe will be performing kid-friendly live music and St. Matthews Martial Arts will be providing exciting demonstrations throughout the event. Nov. 4, 2 p.m.
