We’re on a mission to end breast cancer, and we’re always looking for people who are committed to making a difference. We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the year and we do our best to utilize the unique strengths and interests of each of our volunteers.

The Komen Race for the Cure® is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world, with well over one million participants since 2005. The Race for the Cure series raises funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer and celebrates breast cancer survivorship.

The Komen Louisville Race for the Cure® is held at Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It's a celebration to honor survivors and a time to remember those who have lost the battle with breast cancer. It is a safe, fun-filled event with music, food and opportunities to learn more about breast cancer and Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

8:15am - Survivor Celebration
9:00am - 5K Race begins (Timed Runners first)
9:15am - 1 Mile Family Walk begins

New for this year:
V.I.Pink

We are rolling out the Pink Carpet for our V.I.Pink participants! Each V.I.Pink ticket costs $100 and includes race registration and admission to the new V.I.Pink area — a beautiful garden with a luxurious lounge featuring free massages and refreshments. Sponsored by Nanz and Kraft Florists, Louisville Stoneware, ATA College and Merrill Lynch.
*Though families are welcome, each guest must register for V.I.Pink.
