Planes will take to the skies over the Steve Henry Airfield in E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park for the Wings for Kids event on June 4 and 5. The event will benefit Kosair Children's Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation. The 13^th annual event is hosted by the Radio City Radio Controllers and features radio controlled airplane flying exhibitions, including aerobatic airplanes, Warbirds from World War I and World War II, turbine-powered jet aircraft and scale vintage planes. This event also features fun activities for the whole family, including a candy drop, inflatables for children, flight simulators and a chance to win cash prizes in an egg drop. The event is Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Steve Henry Airfield in E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park.  Admission is $3 per person or $10 per car.  For more information, visit wingsairshow.org.
