Come join us at the Hickory Hollow Nature Center for a day of fun. The aroma of apple butter cooking over an open fire fills the air as does the ringing of the blacksmith's hammer striking the anvil. There will be demonstrations and the Hit and Miss Engine Show. At 1:00 p.m. see how hay bales were made in the mid-1800's using oxen and an original operational haypress, a fascinating look at pioneer life.
