Clifton Center will host a screening of the Academy Award Winner from 1956 The Silent World as part of the Wild and Woolly Film Series on Sunday, March 17th at 7:00pm. The evening will include a special presentation by Bob Braunbeck, Cousteau’s helicopter pilot from 1975-1990, who will share stories from his forthcoming book, as well as a highlight reel of some of his adventures with Cousteau.
Le Monde Du Silence (The Silent World) is a French documentary film co-directed by the famed oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and is noted as one of the first films to use underwater cinematography.
Tickets are $5 or free for Friends Members.
