The Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky [BIAK] and the Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Foundation [MQBTF] have merged and will host a combined Walk this Saturday, May 14th at the Belvedere in Downtown Louisville. WALKING TOGETHER begins with registration at 8:30AM at the Belvedere in Downtown Louisville. The Walk begins at 10:00AM. $30 same-day walk-up registration is available. Children under 12 walk free. Native Louisvillian, brain tumor survivor and WAVE 3 Co-anchor Dawne Gee will Emcee the Walk. Prizes: * Walkers registered by 5/1 are guaranteed a 2011 Walk T-shirt. * Top fundraising team wins a pizza party for 20 people from Papa John’s Pizza and gets their team photo in the next BIAK newsletter! * Individual fundraisers raising over $1,000 will receive a personalized custom hoodie (I Wear Gray For....). (Hoodies will be delivered after the walk.) Individuals may purchase a ‘Tribute Sign’ for $25 that will be displayed during the walk.
