This class focuses on the importance of pre-visualization and critical decision making prior to snapping the shutter. It explores the subject of the city and how it translates into the theme of landscape photography using in-class discussions, demonstrations, practice, assignments, student/instructor feedback and a field trip. Additional topics include: using lens selection and aperture to create a point-of-interest; finding unique images in what people see every day (bridges and rivers, for example); getting spectacular results with light, whether direct or subtle; and creating dramatic night landscapes/cityscapes. Learn to give your landscape photos the “wow” factor by attending this new class. Enrollment is limited to 12 to ensure personalized attention. Bring your DSLR and interchangeable lenses to each class.
