The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with the Jefferson County Traditional Middle School cheerleaders, to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, July 26, 2014.Proceeds raised at the pancake breakfast will be used to help offset competition entry fees and new uniform costs as the team prepares for its upcoming season.

“Apple Gold is a proud supporter of athletic programs and sport organizations that develop the youth in our communities,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “We extend an invitation to all those in Louisville to join us at our Outer Loop restaurant on Saturday to show their support for the Jefferson County cheerleaders.”

The Jefferson County Cheerleading fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 4535 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY, starting at 8 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Dustin Weatherford at (502) 802-8165. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage and beverages.

Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company’s efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
