University of Louisville alumnus Dr. Matthew Landrus, a specialist on the working methods and intellectual interests of artists/engineers, will discuss new evidence on Leonardo da Vinci’s approaches to painting as a science in his written and pictorial studies. Dr. Landrus is the Visiting Academic at the University of Oxford History of Art Department - he earned his doctorate from that program in 2006, where he studied with Eminent da Vinci scholar, Martin Kemp. Admission is free. Doors open at 5:30p.
