In this mandatory one-hour session, you’ll receive your $400 Earn-A-Bike voucher along with valuable information, tips, and ideas for making the best of your award and staying safe and happy on two wheels. No matter what your experience level, you’ll benefit from this orientation led by some of Louisville’s most experienced bike commuters. We’ll provide tips about purchasing bikes and gear for year-round bike commuting and we’ll cover the basics for cycling on and around campus. Learn how to protect your bike from thieves; safely navigate Louisville’s streets and ride in traffic; ride comfortably in all kinds of weather; and how to be seen at night.
