Billy is the youngest of three adult siblings in a boisterous family. He was born deaf and raised to read lips, but has never really been heard. When he meets Sylvia, who is losing her hearing and grew up using sign language, he is introduced to new perspectives that tug at the bonds that have defined his life until now.
