Taught by artist Jan Banta-Briseno, learn how to craft a gourd-inspired Thanksgiving centerpiece. Each student will be provided with a gourd cleaned and ready to decorate. The popular “zentangle” designs will be used as a backdrop for all the fall favorites – sunflowers, berries, leaves and more. Patterns will be provided or students may draw free-hand if they choose. Next, the designs may be rendered in pen and ink or wood-burned as desired. Bright fall colors will be added using inks or oil pencils.
