The American Cancer Society will host a dessert tasting called “Celebrate the Sweet Life” on Tuesday, July 17 at the Mellwood Art Center.

This delicious event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s 15th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Louisville, which will take place Sunday, October 28.

Guests will have the opportunity to honor local breast cancer survivors and satisfy their sweet tooth with dessert samples from local caterers, restaurants, bakeries and novelty shops including favorites like The Comfy Cow, AP Crafters, The Brown Hotel, Godiva Chocolate and many more. There will also be a silent auction, music and dancing.
“Since every bite benefits Making Strides Against Breast Cancer this is guilt-free indulgence at its finest,” said Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event manager, Danielle Jostes. “We’re really excited about this new event and the opportunity to continue to engage our community in the fight against breast cancer.”
