Last year hundreds of people came out to support Louisville's homeless community at the Sweaty Sheep Merry Christmas 5k and Eggnog challenge. We had mascots running, costumes everywhere, and eggnog flowing as Louisville showed its true colors - not just giving money to our local shelters, but walking and running side by side with the homeless community.

Join us this year for a bigger and better 5k! Sign up for the eggnog challenge if you're brave, but at $10 a ticket, you can't go wrong with this fun run. This year, we're buying new shoes for the homeless community! Your race entry will help Ken Combs Running Store and Fleet Feet Sports outfit people who are homeless with shoes that actually fit and will provide them with the support they need to maintain healthy feet. But more than that, you personally will be a reminder to these people that they are not alone, and that in this holiday season, their city still cares about them and wants to help them.

Bring the whole family out, because afterwards we'll gather for a dinner at 101 Witherspoon Street (The Presbyterian Center) for a Christmas Dinner you'll never forget!
