The Summit is once again providing Louisville with a perfect summer activity for families to enjoy with their annual Music on the Terrace concert series! Patrons will be treated to free live music, games and prizes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Thursday evening in June and July. The concert series is sponsored by Norton Brownsboro Hospital and Kosair Children’s Medical Center and is held on The Terrace between the patios of Mitchell’s Fish Market and Martini Italian Bistro. The performance schedule is as follows:

June 2: Nervous Energy – Rock Hits

June 9: Cosa Seria - Latin

June 16: Old School – 70s & 80s Rock

June 23: Dem Reggae Bon – Tropical

June 30: Kudmani – Cover Band/60s to today

July 7: da Mudcats – Blues

July 14: Crushed Velvet – Classic Rock

July 21: Josh & Holly Band – Folk/Country/Pop

July 28: Wulfe Bros – Family Rock

While attending the concerts guests can dine alfresco style on The Terrace at restaurants like Martini Italian Bistro, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Starbucks and 32°, A Yogurt Bar. Nightly entertainment also includes radio station Lite 106.9 FM who will broadcast live and give audience members the chance to win special giveaways including tickets to see Lady Antebellum at the 2011 Kentucky State Fair. Music on the Terrace patrons will also have the opportunity to register to win a $50 Summit gift card. The winner from each concert event will be announced the following day on Facebook.
