Varanese Restaurant, located at 2106 Frankfort Avenue, will host the Stonestreet Single Vineyard Wine Dinner on Tuesday, December 9 with a reception at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:00pm. The evening will feature guest speaker Jeff Bishop of Stonestreet Winery and a six-course dinner paired with wines from the northern California winery all made from grapes grown at elevations from 400 - 2,400 feet. Lean, rocky soils and cooler temperatures at high elevations result in fruit that is vividly colored and intensely flavored. The cost is $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
