A Merrie Band of Traveling Players rehearses its splendid and original telling of The Glorious Adventures of the Mighty Robin Hood, a tale of adventure, escape, kidnapping, stunt archery, swordplay and treachery, in which Robin and the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest rob unsuspecting nobles, thwart the devious Sheriff of Nottingham’s plot against Maid Marian, and escape the clutches of the usurping Prince John. The players do so with exciting physicality, great skill and only occasional backstage injuries, arguments and errors, most of which are blamed on their young apprentice-who may hold the key to their continued success…
