The St. Stephen United Church of Christ 11th Annual Chilifest and Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, October 5th. The Yard Sale will run from 8am until 8pm, and the festival runs from 4pm until 8pm. St. Stephen is located at 1875 Farnsley Road. This annual event has something for everyone. There will be lots of treasures to find in our yard sale, a variety of silent auction theme baskets/gift certificates, cake/flower walk, face painting, door prizes, a bouncy for the young ones, baked goods booth, and a capital prize.

The highlight of this event though is the CHILI. Each year the church goes through about 25 gallons of delicious chili. In addition, there will be chili dogs, hot dogs, turkey sandwiches, chips, pie, cake, coffee, tea, & lemonade for sale. There is no admission charge to this event.

This yearly fundraiser provides the church an opportunity to reach out to local neighbors and beyond. Proceeds from this event allow St. Stephen to continue their financial support of a wide variety of local community programs and organizations, including Shively Area Ministries, Wayside Christian Mission, Brooklawn Child & Family Services (now known as Uspiritus), Plymouth Community Renewal Center, Center for Women & Families, Home of the Innocents, Crusade for Children, and our annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Basket Program.
