What will Francis the big head decide to eat? With so many choices out there for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, which foods will convince her that they are the most delicious or nutritious? Fried Egg or Top Tart? See how her decisions affect how she feels. What is she eating, where is it coming from and what is it doing to her? Join Squallis in a NEW SHOW featuring many food hand puppets and a 6-foot tall head that interacts with the meals and the audience. This program has been funded by the Louisville Metro Government and a private foundation. THANK YOU for supporting your local puppet troupe.
First Saturdays- Puppet Show and Workshop Series
Squallis is creating a home for puppetry in Louisville at “The School of Sharks Theater”- located on the top floor of Our Mother of Sorrows School Building, near the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Preston Highway. We have a new puppet theater for small audiences and have opened our doors to the public with a series of Saturday performances and workshops for families. This is an opportunity to share live performance with the kids you love, watch their imaginations grow, and collaborate with them on their own puppet projects. Stick around after the show to see what you can make together with “make it and take it” puppet workshops. Shows and workshops each run 30-45 minutes. Hurray, the puppets finally have their own theater in Louisville!
