The fourth annual Woodford County Woman’s Club Spring Garden Tour and Plant Sale will be held May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The theme is “Backyards of Woodford County” and will feature intimate gardens in Versailles, Midway and the surrounds.The tour’s gardens will be located at both historic and suburban homes. Visitors will have an opportunity to view a rain garden, serene koi ponds, perennial and annual gardens, herb gardens, a traditional English garden, a poolside garden and a unique train garden. Before, during or after the tour, stop by the Little House, 247 Lexington Ave., and visit the Backyard Garden Plant Sale. A portion of the proceeds from the tour and sale will benefit the Coats and Shoes for Kids Project for Woodford County children and other Woodford County charities.
