The Speed Art Museum Concert Series kicks off the 2014-2015 season with "Metropolis": a cine-concert of Fritz Lang's 1927 German Expressionist epic science fiction film with live accompaniment by organist Tim Baker. Directed and co-written by Fritz Lang, this dystopian silent film was a pioneer for the Science Fiction genre. In conjunction with the screening of the film organist, Baker, will be providing his adaptation of the original film score by composer Gottfried Huppertz.
