Actress and Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence is passionate about giving back to her hometown. This event offers patrons a chance to see her newest movie before it opens nationwide, and support one of her favorite Louisville charities. For over 50 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Hunger Games character for the chance to be named “Best Dressed” and win an autographed poster. Jennifer has covered the costs of this special screening so that all proceeds will directly benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana. While she cannot attend the Louisville screening in person, Jennifer will be there in spirit. Karen Lawrence, Jennifer’s mother, and other family and friends will be in attendance
