On Friday, August 15th at 7 PM (at our Frankfort Ave store) Carmichael's welcomes North Carolina writer Charles Dodd White for a reading from and signing of his new novel "A Shelter of Others." This moving story tells of the families we’re born into, the families we make for ourselves, and how tightly woven are the ties that bind. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, White now lives with his family in North Carolina. Author Frank Bill writes “Charles Dodd White’s writing is dark, gothic and steeped in a voice that is all his own."
