On Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 1pm-8pm, Silver Creek High School will be hosting a "Tornado Relief Concert." Doors will open at noon. There will be 4 stages with 40+ bands. 100% of door admission will benefit storm victims in the areas affected by the March 2, 2012 tornadoes through the local American Red Cross. Admission is $10 at the door only and $5 for ages 12 and under. Here at SCHS, we have a few members from local bands, Remington Maxwell (the Hi-tops) and Jake Snyder (myfakehero) who will be playing. Remington says,"I think tons of people will show up to the benefit concert, because everyone in our community wants to support all the affected areas in any way that they can!" Jake says,"We're excited to play, and also glad that we can help give back to the community!" The event will conclude with music by the Rumours and The Louisville Crashers. The Louisville Crashers have made a video (Click here to view) that gives you all the information you need to know about the Tornado Relief Concert! Food and drinks will be available at concession stands. There will be a silent auction of several highly desirable collectibles as well.
