Envisioned as a laboratory for uncommon works highlighting the skills of local artists and engaging community-wide audiences, the Slant Culture Theatre Festival features performances by producing companies Walden Theatre, Think Tank Theatre, Theatre [502], Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company, and Louisville Improvisors.

For 2014, the Festival again invited submissions from area companies and individuals to assemble a juried list of Slant Guests and productions special to the Festival. This year’s offerings include The Moth StorySLAM, Louisville Literary Association-INKY at Slant, Chris Anger, The Bard’s Town, Baby Horse Theatre Group, Melinda Beck, Cody Clark, Eve Theatre Company, Looking for Lilith Theatre Company, Marrow Street Theater, Theatre Farouche, Walden Theatre Alumni Company, and Walden Theatre Young Company.
