ROBBIE PHILLIPS BENEFIT CONCERT. SATURDAY, JULY 16, CLEAR CREEK PARK AMPHITHEATRE. 1:00PM – 9:00PM.
A live concert and car show to benefit Robbie Phillips will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Clear Creek Park Amphitheatre in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The event will run from 1pm to 9pm.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds to help enable a young man a second chance at living. On November 6th 2008, Robert Phillips attempted to commit suicide by hanging. He was found with no pulse and revived. He is in great health now, but has severe anoxic brain injury that has left him totally dependent upon medical care. Robbie has been approved for Antilogous Adipose (fat cells from his own body) Stem Cell Procedures in Arizona. The procedure is scheduled for August 10th 2011. The goal of the procedure is to re-grow brain cells and restore brain function.
The event features an all day live concert, car show, food, face painting, bake sale and fellowship. The cost is $10 per vehicle.
Special Guests include Ron Whitehead, musician John ‘JD’ DeServio, poet and author Aron Houdini, a/k/a The Last Houdini, and actor David Andrew McDonald from Guiding Light.
The music line up includes twenty-six, plus bands and individual performances. Music genres include but not limited to Gospel, Country & Bluegrass, Classical & Blues, Acoustic Rock, and Electric Rock.
