Seviche will host a special dining event featuring reimagined Caribbean and Latin fare from chef Anthony Lamas and Flying Fish chef Tim Tibbitts, with wine pairings from Flying Fish sommelier Rebecca Tibbitts Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held in Seviche’s private dining room for a more intimate setting with limited seating for 20 guests. Known for his Southern-inspired Latin cuisine and incredible seafood, Lamas’ talents are the perfect complement to Tibbitts’ modernist techniques. A native Bahamian, Tibbitts has extensive experience with Asian ingredients and a passion for exploring Caribbean flavors. Together the two renowned chefs have planned an exceptionally innovative menu where each course will play on contrasting textures and unique flavor pairings.
Wine pairings for the event will be hand-selected by Rebecca Tibbitts, the only certified sommelier on Grand BahamaIsland and sole certified female sommelier in the Bahamas. Her ability to pair wines with Caribbean cuisine is second to none and her knowledge of wine and the wine-making process allows her to engage with and educate guests.
