Second Life explores nature, science, anatomy, craft, and preservation through taxidermy and other uses of the vestiges of animate beings.
Taxidermy from recent art history starting with the use of ornithological practices in the work of 19th century painter John James Audubon and the subsequent work of artists like Jochem Hendricks, Adam Fuss, and Damien Hirst will be displayed.
