Louisville’s Waterfront Park has been lauded as one of the best examples of environmental redevelopment in the nation. Known as the “emerald heart of this city by the river,” Waterfront Park is a place where you can take a moment out of a busy day to rest and recharge. The 4th Annual Friends of the Waterfront (FOTW) River Walk will be Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. FOTW is excited to announce that this year's 1.5 mile fun-walk will immediately precede the May 29th WFPK Waterfront Wednesday event. Check-in will be at the FOTW tent near the Big Four Bridge at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the walk.

Registration for River Walk is $25 per person and includes an event t-shirt. ALL proceeds from the walk go to support the free events in the park such as WFPK's Waterfront Wednesdays, the Fifth Third Bank Waterfront Independence Day Festival, The Park Clean Team, JCPS Curriculum guides, and FREE Wi-Fi access in the park.
