The Ridge Winery in Switzerland County, IN, will participate in the Southeast Indiana Wine Trail’s “SOUPer Saturday.” The event takes place Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 11am-5pm at the Ridge Winery Tasting Room at 298 Hwy 156 in Vevay. Six wineries along the trail will feature a Soup of the Day paired with signature wines.
The Indiana Wine Trail is inspired by the history and tradition of Swiss immigrants who planted vineyards near Vevay in Switzerland County. For over a decade, Tom and Mary Jane Demaree of the Ridge Winery have been offering award-winning wines through the Ridge Winery Tasting Room. Featuring unique blends from an array of berries, apples and choice grape varieties, wines are available for tasting and purchase. With an indoor patio room and outdoor seating, the spectacular view of the scenic Ohio River makes for an inviting and relaxing wine tasting experience. Wine-themed gifts and souvenirs are also available.
