Peter Hatch was responsible for the restoration of the landscape at Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home in Virginia. Mr. Hatch will speak about his work recreating Jefferson's garden, and sign copies of his book, A Rich Spot of Earth.
A reception with wine & hors d'oeuvres follow the lecture.
Tickets are $20/general public; $15 Friends of Locust Grove; special Patron tickets at $75 include a tour of Locust Grove's gardens & grounds with Mr. Hatch before the lecture at 5 p.m. Reservations recommended.
