REO SPEEDWAGON KICKS OFF WQMF 30^TH ANNIVERSARY SUMMER CONCERT SERIES AT IROQUOIS AMPHITHEATER

Louisville’s classic rock leader, 95.7 WQMF, announces the kick-off of its 2011 summer concert series to celebrate its 30^th anniversary.

REO Speedwagon, who is, coincidentally, celebrating the 30^th anniversary of their multi-platinum hit album, “High Infidelity” this year, will open the series at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Louisville, KY., on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at 8:00pm.

WQMF Program Director Charlie Steele said, “With both the band and the radio station having 30^th anniversaries this year, it was a perfect fit for the first show in the series! REO Speedwagon is always a big draw in the Louisville area and Iroquois Amphitheater is a great venue to see them this summer.”

Ticket prices for the REO Speedwagon “High Infidelity Anniversary Tour” at Iroquois Amphitheater are $35 advance and $40 day of show, plus service charges.
