Five stores in Louisville are participating in Record Store Day, an annual event in the Highlands and downtown Louisville since 2007, with Better Days Records East at 1765 Bardstown Road serving as the unofficial HQ. The day-long celebration marks the debut of the store's new expansion, which boasts an extra 400 square feet devoted exclusively to new and used vinyl. Elsewhere in Louisville, RSD will be celebrated at Better Days West, 2600 W. Broadway; The Great Escape, 2433 Bardstown Road; Please & Thank You, 800 E. Market St., and Underground Sounds, 2003 Highland Ave.
