Legal and medical professionals, students, and community supporters from across Kentuckiana are lacing up for the LBA’s fifth annual Ramble 5k fun run/fitness walk benefiting Doctors & Lawyers for Kids, a medical-legal partnership designed to improve the health and well-being of low-income children and families.

The Louisville Bar Association invites everyone to Beckley Creek Park at the Parklands of Floyds Fork on Saturday, Aug. 16 to join in the fun, celebrate good health and support a great cause.

As a family (and pet!) friendly affair, participants will enjoy food and refreshments, music, games, inflatables and playground equipment for kids, a cutest dog contest, and much more!

The 3.1 mile fun run and fitness walk will begin at 9 a.m. with late registration beginning at 8 a.m.

Early registration is $35 per person prior to August 13 ($15 for students), or $40 thereafter, up to the day of the event ($20 for students). Groups of four or more participants will receive a $5 discount (does not apply on student rate). Kids ages 12 and under are FREE with an adult racer.

Registration includes participation in the 5k run/walk, a goodie bag and access to event entertainment. Racers may register by July 31 to receive a FREE t-shirt!

Those who are not interested in the 5k, but still want to enjoy the festivities and support the cause, may purchase a Party Zone pass for complete access to games, food and beverages. Party Zone passes are $15 for up to three participants (including adults and children) and $5 for each additional participant.
