Decorated scientist and best-selling author Dr. T. Colin Campbell joins his son, filmmaker Nelson Campbell, at the Iroquois Amphitheater in Iroquois Park for a "RALLY FOR A PLANTPURE NATION" on Saturday, July 12th to celebrate the growing public interest in the plant-based diet. Louisville KY House Representative Tom Riner will join the Campbells on stage, with music sets performed by the rising indie-folk band Driftwood.
Plant-based food and beverages will be available during the rally, which runs from 6:30pm to 9:30. The event is free.
The Campbells expect a large following of Louisville supporters at their RALLY FOR A PLANTPURE NATION, including some who will share their success stories of transitioning to the diet. Other issues to be addressed include food deserts and the connection of plant-based nutrition to a possible renaissance in small family farming. The Producer of Forks Over Knives will also be on hand for a Q&A session after presenting sneak peek clips from their upcoming film PlantPure Nation.
