“Rage-O-Saurus Rex”
Join us at the School of Sharks Theater for our puppet show for preschoolers. Set in the late Jurassic period, a baby T- Rex and Pterodactyl struggle with friendship, hot lava, and hot tempers. A talking volcano shares his wisdom with the young dinosaurs. This puppet show was designed with the Peace Education Program especially for younger children with audience participation that teaches social and emotional lessons.
Make your own dinosaur finger puppet to take home after the puppet show.
Created for 2-8 year olds, appropriate for all ages and people with tempers.
First Saturdays- Puppet Show and Workshop Series
Squallis has created a home for puppetry in Louisville at “The School of Sharks Theater”- currently located on the top floor of the former Our Mother of Sorrows School Building, near the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Preston Highway. We have a homestyle puppet theater for small audiences and have opened our doors to the public with a series of Saturday performances and workshops for families. This is an opportunity to share live performance with the kids you love, watch their imaginations grow, and collaborate with them on their own puppet projects. Stick around after the show to see what you can make together with “make it and take it” puppet workshops. Shows and workshops each run 30-45 minutes. Hurray, the puppets finally have their own theater in Louisville!
