An evening of new music for piano and string quartet, shared by composer/pianists Dustin O'Halloran of Berlin and Rachel Grimes of Louisville with special guests, members of the U of L Graduate String Quartet. On tour with his elegant new album "Lumiere" on Fatcat Records, Dustin's previous work has included several solo piano albums, records on Bella Union with dream-pop duo Devics, and the soundtrack for Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette". Rachel is known for her recordings with chamber group Rachel's, and will be premiering several new pieces along with selections from her 2009 solo record Book of Leaves.
