Sponsored in part by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis,and Chase Bank, 'Purse Strings' will be held on December 6, 2011 at 300 Spring in Jeffersonville, IN. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a Holiday Boutique Village of vendors like The Daily Earring and Strandz 'n Threadz. Music will be provided by local artists Kitty Slickers. A $10 donation is suggested for admission to the event.

In addition to the festivities, including hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, Purse Strings will feature a purse drive for Dress for Success Louisville to collect new and gently used purses for women in the Kentuckiana area who are served by the career transformation program.

Featured at the event will be Success Stories from participants in the programs of Southern Indiana Asset Building Coalition AND Dress for Success Louisville, sharing how both programs have contributed to their pursuit of self-sufficiency.
