Portraits of Nature will feature painting on photography, new work from artist Mickie Winters. The exhibition will be part of the downtown Louisville First Friday Trolley Hop on Friday August 2 from 5-10PM. Each month, Block Party Handmade Boutique will feature an artist for a special one night only exhibition.

Specializing in editorial, documentary, alternative process, fine art film photography and art education, Mickie Winters has done work all over. She has worked for magazines such as SPIN, Louisville Magazine and BRIDE, and is currently located in Louisville. Some of Mickie's fine art photography work has also been apart of 21c Museum Hotel's art collection. Calming to the soul and provoking to the mind, Mickie Winters Art is full of grace. She has an eye for movement and vivacity, while capturing the being that contains it. It's a stirring experience looking at the world through her eyes.
