Oil manufacturing, drag racing, cow ranching, and network television station ownership paint a colorful picture of Crawford County, Ind., native Charlotte Lucas, co-founder and owner of Lucas Oil Products, Inc., the namesake of the noted Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Her passions have ballooned into successes nationally and globally on a journey she will share as guest speaker at One Southern Indiana’s signature “Pearls of Wisdom” breakfast on Wednesday, Sept. 19.

From 8 to 10 a.m. that day at Kye’s, 500 Missouri Ave. in Jeffersonville, the finale in the 2012 three-program series will offer men and women a time for networking, a full breakfast buffet, the keynote speaker, and table discussions led by local women executives.

Floyd Memorial Hospital and PNC Bank are gold sponsors of “Pearls of Wisdom” this year. The silver sponsor is Endris Jewelers, while bronze sponsors are InGrid Design and L&D Mail Masters.

Tickets are $30 each for 1si members and $45 for general admission. Reservations, which are limited to the first 100 men and women. The deadline is Friday, Sept. 14.
