Our Lady of Peace will host a series of free seminars offering Peace for Parents. The series will help to guide parents with school-age children, from elementary to high school, on a variety of complex parenting issues. The seminars focus on topics that while common, can be tricky for many parents to navigate. Each seminar will feature a different topic and include the opportunity for question and answer.

The schedule for the seminars and their topics are:

• July 19 Bullying: Teaching Your Kid Not to be the Bully or the Victim
• August 30 Teens and Self Esteem: How to help your teen boost his/her self-esteem
• September 20 Teen Depression: Warning signs of suicide and how to help your teen
• October 25 Addiction and the Adolescent Brain: What parents need to know
• December 6 Setting Boundaries for the Difficult Child Without Having to Say No (Too Often!)
