The Old Lousiville Neighborhood Council and District 6 Councilman David James present the first Old Louisville SpringFest on May 19, 2012, on 1st Street between Oak and Magnolia Streets. The festival will be a day-long Parisian-style flea market that celebrates Old Louisville’s love of history, culture, diversity, food and style. Proceeds will benefit the neighborhood associations in the area and Kosair Chairities.
Highlights of the event are:
• Kosair Charities KidsZone – A dedicated area of activities for children 12 and under.
• “Parisian Flea Market” – Local vendors and associations will be selling their unique wares and services… art, hard to find antiques, architectural remnants, fortunetelling, etc. Booth applications are currently being accepted at www.oldlouisvillepsringfest.org and are only $40.
• Food & Drink – Traditional street fair treats, a beer / wine / bourbon tent, gourmet food trucks, and some local eateries will be represented.
• Entertainment - The main stage will present an eclectic mix of some of the top local bands showcasing rock, R&B, bluegrass and more.
