“Oils by Jones,” an exhibit of oil paintings by Carol Jones at Dragon King's Daughter Restaurant, 1126 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, through June. The Louisville Artist Syndicate was recently granted permission to use space in this high-volume, completely local, Bardstown Road hotspot eatery. Jones, a retired RN who worked at Jewish and Methodist Hospitals in Louisville, and a member of the Louisville Artist Syndicate, was chosen for June's exhibit. Jones describes the paintings as “…an exhibit with vivid rose petals, colorful wine bottles, sparkling goblets, and European scenes. Now that I’m retired from my day job of nursing, I take time to smell the roses and kick back with a glass of wine. You paint what you love and I love flowers, crystal, and Italian vinos which inspired these pieces.”

Jones has had solo art shows in Paducah and Louisville, KY, and Nashville and Knoxville, TN, and has been in many juried shows throughout the midwest.
